Tab Trade — The Short Version
Tab Trade launched in Q1 2026. CFD broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, an well-known broker.
That last detail is relevant. It means the founder has actually done this before. Does not guarantee anything. Still preferable to a random name you cannot trace.
They launched with execution through Equinix servers. Same infrastructure institutional desks use. Usually a new brokerage focuses on ads and sign-up promos. These guys went the other way. Unusual for a new broker.
The instrument list: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, commodities, shares, crypto, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For a broker that launched in March 2026, that coverage is solid.
The Software
Available: MT5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Both MT5 and cTrader from the same login. A lot of brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Access to both makes a difference. Use whichever you prefer.
MT5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you have traded on a MetaQuotes platform previously, it is familiar territory.
cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Better depth of market. Faster charting. cBot support. Many people find it more natural after using both.
FIX API is available for algo traders but is only on the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView is said to be on the roadmap. That will be a good addition when it lands.
What You Pay
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Simple. $0 to start. Suits beginners.
Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is often a fraction of a pip. So your actual cost per trade can sit below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. Tab Trade requires zero deposit.
VIP. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, faster fills, negotiated fees. Not something typical accounts. Skip it unless you move real size.
Execution Speed
The execution is the thing TabTrade actually does something different. Equinix data centres. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are not marketing fluff. Most retail brokers quote hundreds of milliseconds.
Should you care? If you scalp, yes. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is profit or loss on tight trades. If you swing trade, you will not notice. But the fact that the setup is serious. That says they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Put together that infrastructure with the Edge account pricing and the total package is strong. Few brokers at this price point offer execution like this.
Regulation
This is the detail that matters. The broker is under Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is tier-3. No ASIC. No government-backed safety net. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, stop reading. There are ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
That said. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The server placement is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not pay for proper execution infrastructure. This does not guarantee anything. It should be part of how you think about it.
What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. In exchange: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether that works comes down to your priorities.
Deposit Bonus
Tab Trade has a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Typical deposit match. You deposit, TabTrade credit extra capital. Usual conditions attached: trading volume requirements before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Read the conditions before funding.
